Erica Stapler, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, COO
Ms. Stapler graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2006. Upon graduating, Ms. Stapler began working as a full-time ABA therapist at a private school in Wheeling, WV. She received intensive and on-going training in ABA techniques.
Ms. Stapler began her career with AOI in June 2008. Ms. Stapler graduated from George Mason University in May 2014 with a M.Ed., in Special Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Special Education. She has experience in working with individuals with special needs from the ages of 16 months through 23 years old.
Ms. Stapler is currently a Program Supervisor and the Director of Training; she trains staff on the basic principles and application of ABA. She is the creator and author of the Theory of Mind Curriculum designed to target executive function skills. In addition, Ms. Stapler has attended multiple trainings, including Social Thinking®, play skills, and IDEA-04 to provide sound and ethical services to all.
Ms. Stapler specializes in Theory of Mind Development, IEP & school support, challenging behaviors and the development of Behavior Intervention Plans.
